The Harvard Business School Club of Philadelphia
Welcome to the Harvard Business School Club of Philadelphia!
Join us in congratulating this year's SPNM scholars. On behalf of the Harvard Business School Club of Philadelphia, I am delighted to let you know that we have expanded our annual scholarship of non-profit chief executive officers to attend the HBS “SPNM” program in 2013. They are:
· Farah Jimenez, People’s Emergency Center
· John Rowe, Utility Emergency Services Fund
· Paul Redman, Longwood Gardens
· Katie Pastuszek, Philadelphia Outward Bound School
Stay tuned in your local papers to hear more! We had a great response to our scholarship call this year; and even more importantly, the qualifications of each of those who applied was outstanding, making our decision very difficult. As a result, we chose to invest in four exceptional individuals who are creating impact in the greater community through their work and vision for the future. Congratulations to the winners!
Further on the non-profit social enterprise initiatives, we are partnering with Compass in launching a formal non-profit consulting engagement effort that will help Philadelphia non-profits and with the Union League's Friends of Harvard Affinity group to create some stimulating programs across all of the Club's efforts.
Come see us!
On May 16, come join us in celebration of 50 years of women at the Harvard Business School. The Harvard Business School has taken this year to celebrate women at HBS. Our Chairwoman and event Chair, Sheree Petrone, will be hosting the event to celebrate HBS women. Read more and register!
Finally, as we prepare for next year, please send me your ideas, suggestions and desires to volunteer as we schedule next year's events in June.
Best regards,
Martin Hunt
