Social Enterprise Conference Sell Out

HBS club member’s work pays off as over 70 not for profit leaders descend on the Comcast Center on November 13th.

Even in the face of challenging economic times, the Executive Directors of the Delaware Valley nonprofits recognize the criticality of developing their leadership skills and have turned out in record numbers for the HBS Club of Philadelphia Social Enterprise Conference on November 13, 2008. Sixty six nonprofit executive directors have signed up for the event and will be joined by eight nonprofit leaders from outside our region (Washington DC, Boston, Detroit, Miami, Denver, Memphis, Little Rock and Seattle). Registration reached capacity a full two months before the conference.

These activities are made possible by the contributions of time and financial resources by HBSCP members and local corporations and foundations. If you would like to volunteer on the SEI (roles vary; average commitment is 1.5/hours per month), please contact Mike Lawson at mlawson@mba1985.hbs.edu.

Club members can assist this worthy effort financially by becoming SEI Fellows...simply by making a tax deductible contribution of $500. If you would rather contribute by check, please make the check payable to "HBS Club of Philadelphia Social Enterprise" and send to HBSCP club administration at 1231 Highland Ave, Fort Washington PA 19034.
