Sunday, September 13, at 5:00 the HBS Club of Philadelphia will be holding its annual fall kickoff cocktail party at the spectacular world headquarters of Urban Outfitters, known for their Anthropologie, Free People, and Urban Outfitters retail brands.  The venue is located in the heart of Philly's 134 year old Naval Yard in one of the city's most impressive landmark properties, a soaring, hangar-sized factory, originally built to produce World War II era battle ships.  Many of these vessels, including a massive aircraft carrier, are docked just a few steps away, offering a one-of-a-kind visual backdrop for our club gathering.  Urban Outfitters has aptly transformed the property into the creative center of their global enterprise, integrating massive industrial artifacts with eastern influenced coy ponds, bamboo plantings, and an antique hand-carved coffee bar imported from India. 
 
We plan to have one of Urban's senior executives join us for the event.  And we can also look forward to meeting the company's new CEO, Glen Senk, who will be our PBC speaker at the Union Club in November.
 
We hope to have a great turnout of our fellow alums and friends, and look forward to seeing all of you to celebrate the end of the summer together.

The cocktail party is free for Sponsors (and one guest) and Patrons.  For all other members and their guests the cost is $20 per person.
